- File:Baba Hari Dass.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- This image is on websites at higher resolution (here and [www.http://saltspringcentre.com/about/baba-hari-dass/ here]). We probably need a higher resolution upload to demonstrate the sourcing is correct. Peripitus (Talk) 05:24, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

- Though the tune may be old, this edition of it is under copyright. A newly typeset version of a public-domain tune should be used instead. —Jchthys 12:07, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

- The webpage cited in the permission section states: "Copyright © 2006 Sri Lanka Army | All Rights Reserved
Contents of this site are the sole property of Sri Lanka Army and any duplication in any media is liable for prosecution.Reproduction of these465 stories/data is possible provided its source is given its recognition." so it's pretty clear the content is not freely licensed. —innotata 13:25, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

- Don't delete the file, just change the licensing to fit the permission granted.Divine618 (talk) 02:53, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- The image would need to be released by the copyright holder under a licence which freely allows commercial use and modification, permission for Wikipedia use only is not sufficient (please see [1] for background/explanation, particularly the sixth paragraph). - If she gave me permission to use the photo, then why is there a need to delete it? I understand that it's not a complete free image but can't it still be used on Wikipedia? Divine618 (talk) 21:13, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- No, it would fail WP:NFCC#1 as a non-free image since the subject is a living person and it is possible to create a free image of him, so unless the copyright holder releases this image under a free licence it will have to be deleted. January (talk) 06:59, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- Okay I am going to see if the author wants to release the image under the Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license. Divine618 (talk) 22:55, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
