----------------------------------------
The show's back but no new opening song yet. We'll be getting one next month probably.

The goofy humor is back again but so is the 8th Brigade. The twins this episode were so damn adorable. Humor aside, I see they're dealing with more troubles again in the aftermath of their recent mission.

After a long wait, it is finally back.

It was good of the 8th to help the town in their reconstruction. Though Obi and Hinawa were framed. Benimaru sure is powerful.

That Tamaki moment. <3

A touch of Monogatari in this episode.

And we got to see more of Benimaru in action. Merely a fragment of his power again, but I'm looking forward to see him go all out at some point.

Nice episode overall and feels good to have this back.

Just to be honest, an awful plot propelling trope. "Want me to listen? Beat me first". Che-ap. But then again, cheap makes sense when we consider every other aspect... nothing our of the ordinary.

Well there is a reason for that though he didn't wake up and he was like "ok let's attack those bastards for infernalizing people" lol

He wa set up and before someone said: " he should knew "

There is no way he should because a character reaction based on where was and what he saw or heard there is no way he could see the way us the watchers saw stuff in the episode we see the episode from an overall naration but it is not the same way the characters that are in the story are seeing things.

If he saw 2 people that looked like obi and hinawa saying that it kinda makes sense he decided to action that way and something else because someone could say" he could trust them"
Would you trust people you barely know for like some hours at best? I doubt

Great episode. I'm really happy to have this show back!

It was nice to see the 8th helping with the reconstruction. And well, Tamaki tried... at least she raised the morale of the workers, that's for sure lol.

The fight was pretty cool.

I'm enjoying how they are taking things. And the mystery they're throwing at us... I just hope it doesn't go too far. Changing appearances as well. I hope they explain how did it happen, and also, no one's trustable so far. Let's see how this solves out.

Its always a nice gesture to see people work together after a disaster strikes even if they're from different stations. Its amusing seeing the 8th's members use their skills to effect some creative repairs. Hika and Hina are quite the amusing members huh. Its funny in while the 8th is out Hibana is busy rearranging their station. Things sure got real pretty quickly though i never thought that it will be via deception though. The 7th's captain though sure has some impressive combat skills though being adapt at both close and mid range combat. Still while the teams defeat was disheartening to watch it sure gave one hell of a stage for Obi to shine. Overall an excellent ep and a great return to the series that featured a good mix of action and character expansion. Seems the enemy is trying to cause the developing relations between the 7th and 8th to break down.

It's back after a little break but damn Benimaru is a powerhouse. Captain Obi has a hell of an endurance against a strong guy like Benimaru. It's a shame to see the 7th and 8th fight each other like that after they got along so nicely. Hopefully next week the misunderstanding will be cleared.

This sure is tensing up with all that 'wide-clad' people stuff

Benimaru was strong af. Guess that's what you could expect from the very strongest. Though he's a real blockhead

Tamaki losing her bra was off.. like idk this was literally forced in for no reason..

The whole episode was extremely stupid. I really hate how lately these action shounen always have this over the top characters that are really strong but their judgement is clouded by hatred, how the F does these people get accepted as the leader of their squads? The same shit happened with KnY's Hashiras, like, I get they might have gotten through fucked up shit, but an organization shouldn't have these kind of people that are easily clouded by hatred on the top spot.

This episode's conflict could have been avoided easily by talking things out, this just felt dragged for cliffhanger purposes.

Curious how those guys were able to transform though.
Benimaru's is really strong, loving his action sequences. Though, I wish he would've given the eighth the benefit of doubt and asked them to explain themselves.

If only the world worked that way. I know this is a fictional anime, but the whole judgment being clouded is pretty accurate to real world stuff that goes on.

The problem itself is not that they get clouded by that, but the fact that on these kind of anime there's always someone that somehow gets a top spot on a very important organization who is inside for all the wrong reasons, it's just doesn't work for me. It's a very common cliché and its terrible for characterization.

Finally Fire Force returned, I liked this episode quite a bit, it marked the beginning of another conflict that the evangelist's group is willing to start.

What a pleasant scene it was to see the whole squad of the eighth company help in the repair of Amakusa, obviously my favorite part was to see the spectacular Maki show off her incredible strength and Tamaki was lewded again to lift the morale of the men of the seventh company.

Interesting was knowing more about Benimaru and Konro, Konro's condition was something that left me impressed, those burns looked very bad and knowing that he can reach the point of burning and end up in ashes if he exceeds his pyrokinesis limit is not encouraging.

It was a real shame that the cooperation between the eighth and seventh company would last so little thanks to the evangelists and their dirty tactics, now Benimaru is out of control and will only accept hearing if he is defeated, but Benimaru demonstrated his incredible talent as a pyrokinesis user of second and third generation, he defeated everyone except Obi who made clear why he is the captain of the eighth company.
The fight between Benimaru and Obi was great, with a lot of tension knowing that Obi does not have pyrokinesis which made the worst expected, but is Konro who calms Benimaru to the point of aggravating his condition.
What a way to end the episode, that flashback of how Konro ended up like that was incredible, the design of that demon-like Infernal left me impressed.

The name of the next episode does not give me a good feeling, I hope that the evangelist's trap is cleared and finally Benimaru agrees to work with them.

I really missed this anime and the art is just as good as ever.
That captain vs. captain scene was really great. I didn't expect Obi to be able to hit Waka. Guess the enemy's impersonating ability is another problem for the 8th.

Finally this show is back!

8th company helping the town was really nice, everyone shoed their skills, and also Tamaki get her moment!

SO the evangelists disgised as Obi and Hinawa, and obvious Benimaru would got that misunderstand and went full rage mode!

Benimoru is so damn strong, and have an awesome powers, and he is really badass damn, he managed to defeat everyone from 8th!

Obi is an awesome tank, damn, didn't know he dont have powers, but he was able to hi Benimaru, what a captain!

We got some flashback about Benimaru and Konro's past, it ended in a clifhanger, want next episode!

And here I thought Arthur was the idiot of the show... "if you don't want to fight, then prove it by fighting with me"... man, I really wish the subs I read were wrong because Benimaru being this closed-minded was a real let down. Not to mention also that the sole reason to justify the fight scene between him and Obi was quite lame, being honest.

That said, it was a quite underwhelming episode overall.

P.S.: Man, I was really hoping for that glorious second OP but then I remembered it was said it will be used at ep. 15... shit :/

I unknowingly searched for the anime last week a couple of times not aware that the show took a break. I guess I kind of miss it so I'm glad to watch an episode of the anime again.

First half was alright but I like the fight that break out later with a powerless captain vs the strongest powered captain despite the cliched characterization.

"Their judgment is clouded by hatred" How do you intent to explain this part because to me it looks very weird.

Something i already said but people do not even bother reading, i quess they think they know everything yet they make some out of content assumptions like this.

The thing is characters do not see the story like we do in an anime because the narration to us is that we see everything that happens in that episode all the points but for the characters the narration goes only to the things they did.

For example if benimaru in the story did a walk in a specific alley of asakusa and he saw 2 guys in the dark that looked like obi and hinawa talking about making people into infernals
There is no freaking way that the character saw the real obi and hinawa that are in another part of the same village or city or whatever asakusa even is because that's what benimaru did he just walked and saw this that was the narration part.

I cannot comprehend when people start saying that benimaru should knew that these guys were not obi and hinawa simple because we as watchers we know or suspect they were not because of the narration we see things.

In real life if there someone in your work that talks shit about you while you are like in another floor of the building you work there is no freaking way that you know about that it is the same about the anime or manga characters inside a story.

Like people need to stop getting mad that the characters are not seeing things form their perspect and besides would you trust some people you met few hours ago?

I wouldn't trust someone i know few hours hell i would even trust someone i know for 2-3 months because i had been in few situations where supposed best pals of mine that i knew for 5 or 10 or even 15 years were not worth been call pals.

the literal first thing the show said about the 7th is that they operate outside the organization, the reason he is the captain is because the town trusts him and the town as a whole is antagonistic to everyone else, it hardly a surprise he is too.

Dude, I'm not saying he should knew the dudes he saw weren't them, but he just literally exploded without thinking and rushed to conclusions. Those guys were helping them reconstructing the damn town earlier, everything could have been resolved via Alibi like they did at the very end

There's a difference between not trusting someone and just literally kill everyone you think is suspicious based on vague accusations.

Still, if a town trusts an idiot that vaguely accuses people from things they didn't do without doing a proper investigation, let me tell you that whole town and squad are a bunch of retards.

This is probably best episode so far

But one thing I don't like about this anime is that you can't easily remember what is happening. The way anime presents things make it hard to remember. I was wondering who is that Kantaro guy they keep talking about. Then I went back and rewatched 2nd half of episode 11 at 2x speed. It turns out Kantaro is just random guy who become infernal.

Do people here get confused and forget things when they watch this anime like me ???! I still remember a lot of details in Attack on titan and JoJo golden wind, but in this anime I often forget what happened in last episodes.
